Hudson Design Labs provides FDM and SLA (coming soon) 3D printing services. Multiple printers and technologies allows us to provide the parts you need when you need them. For most orders we prefer to accept orders through 3D Hubs, who provides model verification, payment processing, and a secure contact portal.
Our Robox FDM printer will handle parts up to 210 mm by 150 mm by 100 mm, or 8 inches by 6 inches by 3.9 inches. The Prusa i3 MK3+ printer will handle parts up to 250 mm by 210 mm by 200 mm, or 9.8 inches by 8 inches by 7.8 inches. If your part is larger than these measurements, please let us know so that we can discuss alternatives.

3D Printing Filament Stock and Price List
In order to get the best results and lowest price from your 3D print, please do the following steps:
- Make sure your model is free of errors. You can do this with 3D Builder or one of several other programs or services. This ensures that the outside shell of the model does not have gaps. If you are unable to verify the model you can still submit it but a file repair fee may apply.
- Look for joints in the model. Many 3D modeling programs make up a model by using several joined solids. If these solids don't touch each other to make one large solid the printer will recreate the gaps, which may cause weak points in your model and will be visible on the outer surface.
- Think about support. Does your model need a lot of support? This article from 3D Hubs may help you simplify your model: https://www.3dhubs.com/knowledge-base/how-design-parts-fdm-3d-printing
- Does your model require a specific orientation? Please mention any critical dimensions, features, or faces in your request.
- Choose the right material. If you are unsure, please describe the application and provide as much information as possible so we can assist you.
- Choose the layer height. 3D printers make your part layer by layer. The height of these layers dictates how smooth the final finish is, how strong the part is, and how long the print takes. If you aren't sure, please describe what you are looking for and we can provide additional information.
